Commission Prices and FAQ (Updated July 7, 2009)If you're interested in commissioning me for a calligraphy or art piece, please check out the following and feel free to write if you have any questions.

Calligraphy: $19 and up, depending on your needs. [link]
Art Commissions (characters, scenes, you name it): $17 and up, again depending on your needs. Digital samples: [link] Traditional samples:[link]
Payment:
I accept PayPal, major credit cards and money orders (only if sent with Delivery Confirmation and a tracking number).
How Does It Work?
Unfortunately, due to several people requesting calligraphy characters and then disappearing without paying after seeing preview images, I now require all payment up-front, no refunds, before beginning work. After you describe what you need and if you'd like a physical original or a high-resolution version, I'll get back to you with the final price and if you agree and pay, work will begin. I'll keep you updated when I finish and send you either the final file or a preview image for the physical version I'll be putting in the mail.

Are you able to provide me with a print for the Japanese symbol for "passion"?

Sure, for a high-resolution file it'd be $19. If you'd like the physical original, it'll be more depending on the size you'd like and shipping. Also, I need to know what sort of passion you mean, as there's romantic passion, the type of passion you have when you're devoted to a cause or excited about something, religious passion, etc.

If you send me a paypal invoice I can pay you. Is that ok?
(The way I now handle commissions is that the client pays up front and then I do the work and send along the final version, along with the pronunciation of the word and an explanation of the characters used. Unfortunately, I had to start doing this because I had several people ask me for commissions and then disappear after I showed them a preview of the work, never paying me for the work I'd already done.)
