2. You can print it out and do your design by hand, or do everything digitally, or a mix. You can see a sample here:

3. Upload your entry to your dA account, including a link back to the contest, and note me to let me know it's up.
4. All entries must be received by midnight EST July 11th, 2010.

dA Reboot!
First of all, hope you're having a good summer! :)
I've been on dA with this account off and on for over four years. It's been fun and I'm very thankful for all of you who have commissioned me, favorited pieces, and watched my work, but I feel that I've gotten into a rut and it's been hard to find inspiration and new direction in the last year or so (as you can tell by my utter lack of work).
So I'm doing a bit of a creativity reboot and starting from scratch with a new account: ~iheartsendai (https://www.deviantart.com/iheartsendai), with the goal being to just have fun with my art and creative pursuits and try out any old thing I want to. Right now you're probably going to m
What New Art Have You Tried?
If you look at my gallery, I like to try different styles and techniques. When it all comes down to it, I really just like a good, creative challenge.
In the last few months, I've experimented by making a summer cotton kimono from scratch, and making latex horns for a possible Darth Maul costume. For that one I carved clay originals, made a plaster mold of them and poured latex for the final product.
The horns I'm really proud of, the kimono not quite as much (wobbly collar attack!).
So my question is... No matter how big or small, have you tried anything new lately artistically? :)

My Japan Blog: Enjoy, Learn, Shop!
If you like kimono, geisha, samurai, or just about any "traditional" aspect of Japan, come check out my new blog!
As someone who lived in Japan for almost five years, I don't blindly worship the country, but there are a lot of cool, interesting and unique arts and traditions that come from there. My goal is to make my blog a fun, friendly, useful and informative peek into these different areas of traditional culture and art, done in bite-sized daily updates. I love learning new things and sharing that knowledge with others, so this blog is sort of a natural outgrowth of that.
Posts will include, but not be limited to, kimono dealer sales up
